Víctor Hugo Ajquejay (Guatemala, 1982), who lived in Patzicía all his life, is a kaqchikel activist, director of the collective Kaqjay Moloj or communitarian collective Kaqjay. He works as a teacher at a elementary school with a focus in multicultural education.
Edgar Esquit Choy (Guatemala, 1966) has a Phd in Anthropology, history teacher and researcher at the Institute for inter-ethnical studies (IDEI) at San Carlos University in Guatemala, intellectual and kaqchikel activist. He research interests contain the exploration of indigenous identities in context of the modern state. He is a member of the collective Kaqjay Moloj.
Rogelio Can Gómez (Guatemala, 1977) is a teacher and kaqchikel activist as well as a member of the directive board of Kaqjay Moloj. He is also a visual artist in the municipality of Particía, Guatemala.
