COS Pivot Instructional Workshop for Graduate Students:

Research and Project Funding Opportunities

New School graduate students are invited to an instructional workshop on COS Pivot, an advanced database search tool for identifying targeted external funding opportunities, grants and fellowships for their research and projects. Two workshops will be offered on campus targeted to different disciplines, and students are invited to attend either one.

Social, Behavioral and Economic Sciences, Policy and Management Fields

Date: Thursday, Sept. 20, 2012

Design, Arts and Humanities Fields

Date: Monday, Sept. 24, 2012

Time: 12:30 – 2:00 pm

Location: 80 Fifth Avenue, Room 802

Attendees will learn about key Pivot features and functions, including how to:

–   Identify funding opportunities, using advanced search criteria and filters

–   Save and share search results lists and individual records with collaborators

–   Set up automated email alerts based on saved criteria and searches

Space is limited. Attendees must RSVP by 9/18 and select which session they would like to attend.
