What Can YOU Do In Just 48 Hours?
New York, NY (October 7 2012) – WINTER FILM AWARDS, a new independent Film Festival in NYC, is pleased to challenge the local community to create a short film from start to finish in just a single weekend.
The WFA 48-Hour Film Challenge gets underway on Friday October 26 at 8pm at the WFA OFFICES at 12 DesBrosses Street, New York NY 10013. Teams will be provided with a film genre, a tag-line and a prop that must be used in a 7-minute film to be created, produced and edited by Sunday October 28 at 8pm. There is no fee to participate in the challenge.
On Saturday November 17, the best entries as judged by the WFA Jury will be screened at the COPACABANA (268 West 47th Street, New York NY 10036) from 7-10pm, followed by an Award Ceremony, prizes and networking party. Entry is $20 and includes drink specials and discounts all night.

The WINTER FILM AWARDS mission is to recognize excellence and diversity in the cinema and to promote learning and expression for all artists at all stages of their careers.
