Volunteers for International Media Event in NYC: January 23 – 25, 2013
The IMPACT Media Summit (New York City January 23-25, 2013) is seeking interested students to work as volunteers to help stage their event.
Student volunteers will benefit from the content that attracts producers, development executives, researchers, archive houses, distributors, and broadcasters from over 20 countries, while encountering specialized keynote speakers, engaging panels, screenings, and an awards gala. There will also be a limited number of networking opportunities with the key players in factual production – feature film, TV, current affairs for both digital and traditional formats.
There are various positions available:
- Conference room assistants: assist with ushering, microphone management, distribute paperwork, etc.
- Registration Attendants: assist with registering delegates
- Speaker Wrangler
Two photography students are also sought out to assist during the conference, and especially during the awards show. Someone who has a photography background and would enjoy the experience would be a very welcome addition to our complement.
