SPRING 2013 RESEARCH ASSISTANT FOR ARCHIVAL MAPPING PROJECT
Graduate student needed for variable hours, but no more than 10 per week, to assist a pilot curricular and civic engagement project. Faculty, all from NSPE’s School of Undergraduate Studies, have variable knowledge about digital media and need assistance in identifying resources related to, and appropriate software for, an online archival mapping project. The assistant would work with faculty Claire Potter, Julia Foulkes, and Ricardo Montez and their students to help teach basic mapping software and social media (e.g., Timeline JS, Drop Pin, Timeline Maker, Kapsul) and would be on call for troubleshooting student projects. Pay: $18/hour
