Registration for the Bastard Film Encounter now open!
Registration is now open for the Bastard Film Encounter, which will be held in Raleigh, NC, April 25-27.
Inspired by the Orphan Film Symposium, the Bastard Film Encounter is a screening intensive weekend of films that are “irregular, inferior, spurious, or unusual.” Screenings will be thematically grouped, and will be preceded by brief introductions and followed by discussions and q&a sessions.
Andrew Lampert of Anthology Film Archives will begin the weekend with a keynote presentation. There will be two full days of presentations by archivists, scholars and filmmakers.
A draft schedule and information about registration and accommodations are available at the BFE website.
