Admission is free and open to the public. The symposium should have interest for all students interested in DIY media, social media for social change, and activist/hacktivis work.
Deirdre Boyle is the author of a book, Subject to Change: Guerrilla Television Revisited, which tells the early history of community video and focuses one chapter on the Videofreex work.
