Opportunity for Film Students – Short Film Contest

Each month, Art With Impact runs a short film contest on the topic of mental health. Entries may be submitted by anyone, anywhere, as long as they address the topic of mental health and are five minutes or less. The winner has her or his film featured in our campus events around the U.S., and receives a $1,000 cash prize.

This contest is a wonderful opportunity for emerging filmmakers to have their work seen by a broad, international audience. In addition to professional filmmakers, previous student winners have included a student from George Washington University, New York Film Academy and the University of Sunderland.  We have a broad and dynamic panel of judges with backgrounds as varied as Psychology and Counseling, Film Direction and Acting, Clinical Social Work and Public Health specialists.

Please visit the website, to find out more about Art with Impact’s programs and the film contest and to view recent winners and other contestants’ submissions.  You can even vote on your particular favorite film via “Like” on Facebook. You can also follow the Art with Impact blog, find out about upcoming community events in your area and review the full panel of judges and their individual bios.
