Filmmaker Looking for Crew for Webseries Project
Filmmaker Odalis Hernández is looking for a Director of Photography and a Sound Technician (who both have their own equipment) for a webseries project called “Thru 25,” which tells the story of a group of young people trying to navigate through their mid twenties in NYC. The first season would be 7 episodes revolving around Viv, a woman who is trying to cope with the loss of her best friend who was killed suddenly. There’s a certain level of spirituality connected to the piece since Simon, who died in a car accident, is a presence throughout the piece via voice over. His presence is meant to reflect the sort of intuition that we feel when we’re faced with decisions in our lives – he’s somewhat living through his friends that he left behind.
Title: Thru 25
Director: Odalis Hernández
Producers: Marchelle Thurman and Odalis Hernández
Description: How do you deal with the loss of someone so important to you that their loss makes you question how you understood life? “Thru 25” is a web series that follows a group of friends in their mid-20s living in NYC and dealing with everyday life after suffering a tragic loss.
