Assistantship Opportunity: The Sero Project

The Sero Project is looking for one or two media studies students with experience in documentary film to provide technical assistance for teens, ages 13 to 16, as they explore the possibilities of media-making as it relates to activism. Sero’s program at the New York Public Library, linked to the exhibit, “Why We Fight: Remembering AIDS Activism,” will use the history of sharing stories and media making in the AIDS empowerment movement to discuss present-day social issues. All applicants with an interest in activism, who are also comfortable or experienced working with teens, are encouraged to apply. Please email Reed Vreeland, communications coordinator at the Sero Project, with a cover letter and brief resume:
Please write with any questions, or feel free to call at 917-573-6328. We are able to provide some compensation for anyone who participates.
