The Turner Group Film Marketing & Outreach Internship Program
The Turner Group is a New York based full service marketing agency providing entertainment marketing, digital and social media, experiential design and production, film festival consulting, programming and curation.
The Turner Group Internship Program will give talented and highly motivated individuals the opportunity to expand on their skills and to learn about the inner workings of the film industry and marketing a film release via digital distribution, screenings and outreach.
We need dedicated, driven and reliable interns to help with the national outreach for an upcoming film campaign. All applicants will need to be able to commit to 12-16 hours per week and must have a laptop and cell phone.

Film Marketing Intern
Where: New York City Area
Deadline: August 26, 2013
Approx Hours: 12 – 16 per week
Intern will help execute and manage a marketing campaign, outreach efforts, a college Screening tour, and manage social media initiatives (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Hootsuite) for film projects. Responsibilities include research, obtaining content to share (articles, photos, videos, press links from film reviews, dates for upcoming film festivals), community engagement, researching Facebook pages and twitter users to begin dialogue to build marketing partner relationships, email marketing, and coordinating screening events. Requires use of social media tools such as Hootsuite and email marketing software such as Mailchimp.
Strong communications skills both written and verbal
Prior social media experience
Strong organizational skills
Ability to follow through on all assignments
Ability to work independently
Software: Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Keynote, Pages
Knowledge of Social Media: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Tumblr, Hootsuite, Tweetdeck, bit.ly
Photoshop, Outreach, and research experience a plus
