Between the Seas: Video Internship, Paid
Between the Seas is seeking for a talented individual to help us capture the festival experience this coming summer.
As part of the BTS team, the videographer intern will be responsible for:
– shooting a video this April in New York for the festival’s upcoming crowdfunding campaign
– capturing assigned main stage performances during the 2014 festival edition (July 21-27 at the Wild Project, NY)
– creating a festival showreel after the end of the festival week
The internship provides a hands-on experience in live performance documentation and a unique opportunity to learn the ins and outs of an international festival setting. The video intern will be interacting with a wide range of international performing artists and will be exposed to experimental, contemporary and high-quality work.
This is a paid internship. Intern should be able to provide with their own equipment and necessary editing software.

Between the Seas was founded in 2010 as the first and only festival in North America focusing on contemporary Mediterranean performing artists. The annual festival runs for one week each summer in New York City and has quickly grown into a unique platform of high quality work, presenting some of the most exciting and thought provoking artists working in the Mediterranean region. With an eclectic programming of performances that so far have included Egypt, Israel, Greece, Lebanon, Italy, Spain, Turkey, Canada, Morocco and the US, the festival’s past three editions have offered NYC audiences over 20 new works including NYC, USA and world premieres by established and young artists.
