Kate Bornstein is a Queer and Pleasant Danger

Since publishing the seminal Gender Outlaw in 1992, Bornstein –a self-described trans-dyke, reluctant-polyamorist, sadomasochist, and recovering Scientologist– has been an activist and prolific author. A deeply loved and respected community elder, “Auntie Kate” has since been a vital figure for communities of alterity in our collective struggles for survival and liberation.
