Donate Now to be Invited to Sneak Peak Screening of ‘Standing By: Gatz Backstage’

Lauren Petty, part-time faculty member at the School of Media Studies, co-created the film ‘Standing By: Gatz Backstage‘, an atmospheric portrait of backstage life during Gatz, a ground breaking performance work created by New York City’s Elevator Repair Service (ERS).

At this stage in production, the film still needs to raise a minimum of $3,500 in order to cover immediate costs. Up until now, this film has been completely self-funded by the film’s director, and he has incurred many costs including equipment purchases and rental, travel, and editing time.

By donating a minimum of $25.00 to the film, you will be invited to to a sneak peak screening of of ‘Standing By: Gatz Backstage‘ on Monday, October 13, 2014 at 7:00 pm at Anthology Film Archives. The event will begin with the screening (film runs 80min) and will be followed by a talk with film director, Shaun Irons and ERS Artistic Director, John Collins (others TBA). Donate here
