Editing and Post Production Internship Opportunity at Bricolagista!

Sheena Matheiken , a New School alum and her husband, Maximón Monihan have a  film company, Bricolagista!, and they are releasing a award-winning debut feature theatrically this summer, editing another feature at the same time, and preparing for a third feature to be shot in Japan next year. They are seeking some help from a young, hungry, eager to learn intern, interested in the various aspects of editing and post production (as it pertains to preparing films for release).

What they are looking for:
An editing/post assistant with solid Premiere and FCP experience, heightened attention to detail, and an enthusiasm to learn and create. You will be working out of our Brooklyn based office at least two days a week. We can also offer $50/day per diem.

Candidates should have a strong proficiency in Final Cut Pro and Adobe Premiere, as well as Photoshop, Compressor and Media Encoder. Working knowledge of the other programs in Adobe’s Creative Cloud, i.e., InDesign, After Effects, etc., a definite plus. Must have great attention to detail. We will be preparing films for release, so precision is key.

Time commitment:
2 or 3 days a week (open to weekend time). 10am to 5pm
