Screening of Student Works – Film, Art, Change: Making Movies to Make a Difference
The School of Media Studies’ summer filmmaking intensive, “Film, Art, Change: Making Movies to Make a Difference,” will be showcasing socially-engaged film projects created by students during their summer study.
Combining 16mm filmmaking craft with high definition (HD) digital techniques and tools, the intensive immerses students in the history and practice of making movies. Students learn to communicate through the unique language of cinema. They learn how to leverage its power to question, provoke, educate, delight, amaze, and change. Students work collaboratively to create meaningful and artful short film projects.
Please join the students, instructors, and The New School community in celebrating the students’ hard work and achievements.
