Media Studies Graduate Completes Film “Tempo Rubato”
Media Studies Graduate, Noelia Santos has completed her documentary film, “Tempo Rubato”, which explores the roots of Colombian music and the intersection with the NY jazz scene.
Short Synopsis: Follow the development of a jazz composition by the acclaimed New York-based Colombian percussionist and composer, Samuel Torres, whose album, ‘Forced Displacement,’ was written as a tribute to the victims of the Colombian conflict. The project takes him on a journey to the roots of Afro-Colombian music and the communities in which it plays an important social role.
