POPS Social Media Strategist
The POPS, a documentary style Web Series for ITVS is looking for a Social Media Strategist. The Social Media Strategist is a proven creative, strategic brand storyteller, and has extensive experience with all social media platforms. They are looking for a social media strategist who understands how to create compelling and strategic programming to build brand awareness and influence consideration.
The Social Media Strategist must have a proven track record and digital fluency, understand impact of video and content creation, influencers, and brand reputation and community management. This role is responsible for both social and content strategy, must be able to work independently.
The role will be primarily focused on: -Social strategy and channel planning for POPS on owned properties, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and Instagram. -A focus on branded social performance and KPIs in context with overall goals. -Activities that encourage the connection of people to POPS Key tasks: -Social ecosystem analysis and channel planning in support of digital strategy -Collaboration with ITVS to build breakthrough campaign work that accelerates social performance -Interface with media and guide paid social strategy and investment goals -Insight development and future planning of tactics rooted in data.
Qualifications: -Able to learn and adapt to new technologies and trends -Impeccable written communication skills -Extremely detailed oriented -Proactive thinker and doer -Independently manage initiatives and campaigns -Create content across properties -Manages campaign reporting -Ability to make strategic recommendations POPS is an ITVS documentary-based web series about African American men facing the toughest challenge of their lives – becoming good fathers. Each father explores the universal themes of responsibility, nurturing and love while differing in personalities, socio-economic backgrounds and struggles. By sharing the collective experience of fatherhood their stories serve to reflect the reality of black fathers in America.
