You are invited to attend as the audience for this invitation-only roundtable discussion hosted by The Middle East Institute at New York University this Wednesday, April 5th.
The roundtable discussion with Diya Azzony, a prominent musician and producer in the emerging music industry of Saudi Arabia, will be held on Wednesday, April 5 and begin at 5:30pm. The event will be hosted at the NYU Abu Dhabi New York City Office (19 Washington Square North). Refreshments provided.
Diya Azzony is a musician and producer at the forefront of the recently public debut of the Saudi music scene. Chris Theberge from Music Works NYC will be moderating the discussion. Theberge is a Grammy-nominated recording artist with over 20 years of music industry experience.
At this roundtable, Azzony will address the opportunities and challenges he has encountered in his quest to create this space as the founder of the only indie record label and recording studio in Jeddah, Libra Productions, and how he became Saudi Arabia’s most sought-after expert on indie Arabian sounds, live music production, and concert management.
