Eccentric Interfaces:
Workshop with
 Tega Brain

Friday April 21 – 12:00-3:00 PM – 65 West 11th Street . room 465

This workshop focuses on the design of eccentric data-driven interfaces that address our interconnectedness with environmental systems. We will consider environmental data collection and data-driven practices as being less about sensors, and more about structuring participation and opening up new perspectives on our own ecology.

Recommended that participants have basic understanding of programming in a
creative coding environment.

Participants should bring laptops.

Unseen Media:
EMF and the Everyday with 
Lyn Goeringer

Friday April 28 – 9:00 AM -12:00 PM – 65 West 11th Street . room 500

In this workshop, EMF sound artist Lyn Goeringer will introduce participants to the equipment and technologies used for amplifying the unseen world of EMF.
This workshop will feature interactive walks through New York City so that participants can hear the signature of the unseen media of EMF.

Participants should bring a set of headphones.
