Milano offering open courses in the fall

(Meets every Wednesday from 6-8 pm)
One semester, 3 credit course
This course is taught by Francis E. Enderlin, Part-Time Professor and President of the New York City Housing Development Corporation
This course would be most beneficial for students interested in housing development, community development, social policy and urban and regional economic development.
(Meets every Tuesday from 4-6pm)
One semester, 3 credit course
This course is taught by Mindy Fullilove whose research focuses on the mental health effects of environmental processes such as violence, segregation, and urban renewal.
This course would be most beneficial for students interested in the intersection of race and policy-making in the United States, social policy, urban renewal programs, politics, media and advocacy.
(Meets every Friday from 5-7pm)
Community Development Finance Lab I NURP6009 is the first part of a two-semster Community Development Finance Lab course sequence.Students must take Community Development Finance Lab NURP6011 in the spring semester. Credit and grade applied in the spring semester.
This course is taught by Kevin McQueen, who is also a partner at BWB an organization looking at planning, governance and impact investing.
This course would be most beneficial for students interested in urban and regional economic development, finance and social entrepreneurship.
