United Nations NGO Looking for Media/Video Intern ASAP
Unique opportunity: NGO accredited at the United Nations seeking undergraduate or graduate student with editing — and assistant production/creative — skills to work on editing videos about issues related to international affairs, global issues, usually with a psychological bent.
Commitment: To be discussed, intensively when editing a particular video
COMPENSATION: Academic credit (if student able to arrange), monthly Metrocard, meals, other perks
Location: Midtown Manhattan
Supervisor: A media psychologist, Dr. Judy Kuriansky, who has been a TV reporter for decades and also a producer of short videos shown at the UN and elsewhere around the world.
SKILLS: video editing, creativity in production ideas, highly responsible
Applicants have the opportunity to work with an experienced journalist, and also to contribute to videos that have global importance.
