Creating an Inclusive Economy: Pathways for Impact Entrepreneurs- October 2
In conjunction with the launch of The New School’s Impact Entrepreneurship Initiative (IEI), The New School is hosting a public event on Monday, October 2 from 6 to 9 pm titled Creating an Inclusive Economy: Pathways for Impact Entrepreneurs. This program will include a panel discussion exploring innovative strategies for transforming complex challenges into opportunities through impact entrepreneurship. Featuring an esteemed group of inspiring entrepreneurs, including Porter Braswell, Natalia Oberti Noguera, Christina Sass, and Chike Ukaegbu, the program will spotlight leaders creating positive impact in multiple contexts, examine new approaches to supporting individuals from underrepresented backgrounds in regards to entrepreneurship participation, and underscore the importance of diversity within this dynamic, rapidly-evolving field.

Deadline for Impact Entrepreneurship Venture Lab is October 4
The IEI is currently accepting applications to the inaugural Venture Lab, an initiative designed to support graduate students and upper undergraduates (juniors and seniors) at The New School in developing financially sustainable ventures that address critical societal challenges and demonstrate the potential for scalable impact. Prospective applicants are encouraged to attend an Info Session on Monday, September 25 from 5 to 6 pm.
