On September, 28th The Advertising Production Club will be partnering with the Media Management Program to host the Women Transforming Media Event.

Shelley Diamond, Chief Client Officer, Y&R

Shelley Diamond is the Chief Client Officer at Young & Rubicam, serves on Y&Rs Executive Board and is practice lead for Y&R Inspire Change. She is a passionate builder of global brands and business, with expertise in integrating and activating platforms across communications disciplines. As one of the highest-ranking female executives in advertising, Diamond has helped champion marketing transformation for domestic and global clients, in both the consumer and B-to-B spaces. She has a unique understanding of the world of giving from her experience working with global brands such as Campbells, Xerox, Dell and Tyson, and nonprofit organizations such as UNCF, UNICEF, Ad Council and the United Nations. Throughout her career, driving social-good initiatives and partnerships for our for-profit and nonprofit client partners has been her passion, both personally and professionally. Diamond is committed to Y&Rs women in leadership initiatives. She is both an advocate and a mentor for women across industries and geographies. She serves on the board of W.O.M.E.N. in America, and is a pioneering mentor of the Fortune / U.S. State Department Global Mentoring Partnership. Her honors include being named the 11th Most Powerful Woman in Advertising by Business Insider in 2013, and in 2005 she was recognized as a “Working Mother of the Year by AWNY and Working Mother magazine. She is on the board of Women in America and previously served on the board of PAETEC.

KaitlynLaRiviere- Upfronts Digital Strategist – Google

Kaitlyn is a strategist on the Upfronts team supporting YouTube. Prior to joining Google, she
worked agency-side in communication planning for clients including P&G and Pfizer, spending the majority of her career at Carat. While currently she is focused on video planning,  she
previously planned across media and for a variety of audiences.

Emily Miethner – Founder and CEO of FindSpark, MCG Social

Emily Miethner is passionate about empowering people to achieve their goals, which she does as the Founder and CEO of FindSpark, MCG Social,and as an adjunct professor. Through FindSpark, a community dedicated to setting up young pros for career success, Miethner has produced more than 250 educational career programs. She has cultivated an active digital and in-person community of over 25,000 young professionals and top employers including HBO, BuzzFeed, L’Oreal, VaynerMedia, Bustle, and IPG Mediabrands– inspiring career optimism in diverse young professionals around the world with actionable, career-changing tips and resources. MCG Social, the consulting branch of FindSpark, provides community management, event production, and millennial expertise to agencies and brands. Their clients include Elizabeth Arden, Trojan, NBCUniversal, IFC, and FirstMark Capital. An award-winning professional speaker, Emily can be found at events, conferences and universities, leading talks and workshops about personal branding, internships, social media, and networking. An educator at heart, Emily is an Adjunct Professor at School of Visual Arts and Fashion Institute of Technology, teaching career and social media skills to a range of students. TANYA VALLE – Life Purpose & Mindfulness Coach

Tanya Valle believes in following her curiosity.Shes been a television news reporter, a press secretary in NYC Mayor Michael Bloombergs Administration,a Fortune 50 company executive, and a public relations business owner. Plus, she was a zookeeper in her 20s. In addition to being a trained Life Purpose Coach, Tanya is also a certified Mindfulness Meditation teacher. She holds an MBA from Fordham University Graduate School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Marketing Communications from the Fashion Institute of Technology/SUNY. Tanya was born and raised in New York City and still lives there. Her hobbies include roller dance skating, traveling the globe, and reading lots of books. She enjoys life and looks for lessons and opportunities to grow personally and spiritually, and to help others do the same.

Linda Saint Marc – Professor The New School Media Management Graduate Program

Linda Saint Marc A global Media and Brand Business Development authority, Linda is an Assistant Professor with The New School Media Management Graduate Program. Linda is the founder of Media x Women which amplifies the accomplishments of women across all media worldwide.

As a C-level executive and consultant, Linda has established and re-cast businesses for category leading media makers. In her career as a publisher, she has launched and managed 128 international magazine editions along with corresponding digital media assets on six continents. Linda is also a recognized Brand Strategist, expanding brands with new and innovative extensions by leveraging trademark and content assets with licensing programs for products, services, events, and e-commerce. Linda’s multi-sector experience enables media Companies to optimize their intellectual property for maximum profitability and connectivity with audiences.
