Final Call for Filmmakers of the Year Film Festival Submissions


This is the final call to submit to Filmmakers of the Year Film Festival. Grab your chance to become the Filmmakers of the Year 2017 and let your skills and inspiring films be known to the larger audience. If your film has previously won awards or you feel your film is good enough to compete with the winning filmmakers from around the world, then this Film Festival is for you.

The Filmmakers of the Year Film Festival (FYFF) main mission is to honor and promote films that have won awards, have unique methods of storytelling, produced with excellent technique, and crafted with passion. We receive submissions from all over the world. The festival accepts feature and short film, and documentary (any length), and we welcome ambitious newcomers to star their excellent films. The festival appreciates all the hard work every department contributes to making a film. With the all-in-one package, juries of the festival will value various performances such as directing, cinematography, editing, performance, story, acting, sound, production design, costume design, music, etc. The festival would give separate awards if they got selected.

Filmmakers of the Year Film Festival (FYFF) will give awards for the overall winner as Filmmaker of the Year 2017. Filmmaker of the Year Platinum Award, Filmmaker of the Year Gold Award, and Filmmaker of the Year Silver Award will be granted to the finalists.


International Feature Film – Feature-length narratives with a minimum running time of 60 minutes.

International Short Film – Short narrative films with runtime < 59 minutes.

Documentary Feature Film – Documentary feature with runtime > 60 minutes in length.

Documentary Short Film – Documentary short with runtime < 59 minutes.

Newcomer Film – We welcome newcomers in the movie industry. The film director must state that the movie is his or her third movie (or under) on his/her application. The category opens for all genres with any length.

Alternatively, you can submit your film through Film Festivals Alliance (FFA), and take the benefit from their Money Back Guarantee system. The system means that FFA will offer you to their other Festival members if a film turns up to be not suitable for one Film Festival.
