Submissions Open for the Bushwick Film Festival
Submissions are now open for the 11th Annual Bushwick Film Festival, scheduled to take place from October 10-14, 2018. Through February 15, students can submit their films on our FilmFreeway or Withoutabox sites for just $20.
Over the last 11 years, the Bushwick Film Festival has become a premier voice for independent cinema in Brooklyn by offering a platform to established as well as up-and-coming filmmakers from all backgrounds. In this tradition, the festival seeks to continue to consciously make room for young artists by providing discounted submission fees.
Important Dates & Submission Info:
February 15: Early Bird Deadline. Student Fee: $20
May 15: Regular Deadline. Student Fee: $25
June 15: Late Deadline. Student Fee: $30
June 30: Extended Late Deadline/Submissions Close. Student Fee: $40
BFF will announce festival selections on August 1, 2018. The Bushwick Film Festival always prides itself in integrating young and emerging artists and giving them a stage to shine.
