Activities Spotlight: Celebrating Color: A Group for Women of Color

Join Student Health Services for a weekly support group, where participants are given the opportunity to share their experiences as women of color, in a safe and confidential space.

Common topics include relationships, oppression, what it’s like to be in the bodies of women of color, acculturation, self-care, feeling
invisible, trauma, identities, and managing stress, sadness, loneliness, frustration, and anxiety.

This group is for all TNS undergraduate and graduate students who identify as women and people of color.

Cisgender, trans, gender non-conforming and non-binary women are welcome.

Tea and snacks will be served!

Time: Thursdays, 5PM-630PM, starting in February 2018

Place: Student Health Services, 3rd Floor, 80 5th Avenue, NY, NY, 10011
