2018-19 GIDEST FELLOWSHIPS
FOR RESEARCH AND CREATIVE PRACTICE

GIDEST invites New School faculty and doctoral students to submit applications for resident fellowships for the 2018–2019 academic year. Fellows will be based in the GIDEST Lab in the University Center and will develop individual projects in dialogue with the group of GIDEST fellows. A total of five GIDEST faculty fellowships are available in two categories: Faculty Research Fellowships are open to all full-time New School faculty; the Faculty Artist-in-Residence Fellowship is open to both full- and part-time faculty. All faculty fellows will receive two course releases from teaching requirements for the academic year 2018-19, subject to agreement with their home department and division, and $1,500 in research or production funds. The five GIDEST Doctoral Fellows will each receive a stipend of $20,000.
