ASIA PACIFIC INTERNATIONAL
FILMMAKER FESTIVAL & AWARDS
Jakarta – Indonesia
Dear Filmmakers,
Asia Pacific International Filmmaker Festival & Awards (APIFA) is advancing the reach of feature, short and documentary films in Asia Pacific markets as well as facilitate production featuring the region. The festival will help accepted filmmakers garner theatrical and provide instructive workshops.
APIFA warmly welcomes great films in all genres and welcomes new filmmakers in the Rising Star category. In addition to offering a platform for film promotion, the festival is eager to facilitate international co-productions with talented filmmakers who are either from Asian Pacific regions or who seek to create a film with Asian Pacific themes or locations. In short, APIFA is not just a celebration of fantastic accomplishments; it’s setting out to be a launch pad for future achievements yet to be conceived.
In addition to screening more than 100 titles, APIFA will host a variety of career-enhancing networking events, and press conferences with the aim of providing gifted filmmakers with as much public visibility and opportunity as possible.
MISSION AND OBJECTIVE
APIFA encourages newcomers and students to explore their artistic talents and to express their voices for an international audience of cineastes.
