Maxi Cohen Studio produces film, video, photography, multi-media art works, and public art installations. The studio produces books, exhibitions, salons, and host a myriad of cultural events. In essence, they provide an entrepreneurial atmosphere that is committed to shifting consciousness and inspiring people to their own self-expression and to act for the good of all. Maxi Cohen’s work is intended for international audiences with a hope to create peace and reverence for the environment.

Maxi Cohen Studio encourages interns to creatively participate, giving them professional level work, challenging and mentoring them. Throughout the internship period, tasks include conducting research for interactive film projects, accumulating and organizing media materials for documentary projects undergoing multiple stages of production, assisting film editors on a feature documentary film.

Other tasks may include:
Creating visibility on social media platforms, innovating noteworthy concepts tailor made to aims of film, art, and installation projects, collaborating on new media ideas and potentially directing crowd funding efforts. Interacting with museums, galleries, and potential art buyers. Fulfilling submissions, reaching out to potential buyers, curating, following up on current art activities, setting up studio visits, etc. Assisting with photo editing and retouching.

A strong candidate:
Must be responsible, a problem-solver, self-initiating, able to work independently as well as in a team. Excellent writing and communication. Knowledge of social media platforms. The ideal individual will have an ability and interest in troubleshooting problems with film editing, who can capture, log, edit, research, and transcribe. Knowledge of graphics, motion and special effects is a plus, as well as a familiarity with Final Cut, Premiere, and photo editing software.
