Call for Submissions: Body Positivity Series
Dear Campus Community,
We invite you—students, faculty, and staff—to submit original artwork to the Body Positivity Series, an art exhibit exploring topics surrounding body positivity including, but not limited to, the celebration of bodies, (dis)ability justice, fat shaming, lack of diversity among body representation, limited and judgmental standards of beauty, and the guilt and shame of having a challenging relationship with one’s own body.
Selected artwork will be displayed in the Baldwin Rivera Boggs Social Justice Hub on the fifth floor of the University Center, as well as in the Skybridge Art Space at 65 West 11th Street, from February 26 to March 16, 2018, with cash prizes awarded to the top two student entries.
Submissions are due by Tuesday, February 20, 2018. Instructions and more information about the event are available in the Call for Submissions.
