Job Opportunity for Graduate Student with Comms/ Web Skills
Leveraging We Are Still In, an emerging national network of higher education/community
climate change partnerships, seeks a student assistant to schedule and help conduct
video/audio (“Zoom”) conference calls with faculty and others; oversee transcription of
recordings of these video conference calls; and follow up with participants as required.
Additional responsibilities include editing and preparing material for the project website.
Technical skills appropriate to these technologies, editorial abilities, and public relations
sensitivities are required.
While some variability in weekly hours may occur at peak/off-peak project cycles, the student
worker would typically spend 10 hours/week employed on the aforementioned tasks under
faculty supervision. Some i(especially initial) interface with staff of the Tishman Environment
and Design Center—which currently hosts the project website—is possible.
This position is rated as Student Assistant II, paid at a rate of $13-$15/hour, depending on
qualifications.
