Irish Screen America is presenting a special NYC screening and director Q&A of The Drummer and The Keeper onMonday, April 16th at Scandinavia House (58 Park Avenue New York, NY 10016) and New School students are invited.

In The Drummer and The Keeper, a drummer of a rock band who has been recently diagnosed with bipolar disorder strikes up an unusual friendship with an institutionalized teen who is living with Asperger’s syndrome. Winner of Best Irish Feature at Galway Film Fleadh, the film has continued to garner critical acclaim and glowing reviews. The film’s director Nick Kelly, stars Dermot Murphy and Jacob McCarthy and producer Kate McCoglan (Calico Pictures) will be in attendance to take part in a post screening discussion.
