We are in the midst of Orientation Leader recruitment and selection, and have seen some phenomenal candidates so far! We have added a few more information sessions to accommodate student schedules. Please feel free to personalize this email and share this with students you think may be interested in learning more!  Below, you can also find a survey to help us select the first annual theme for Orientation. We want everyone (staff, students, faculty) to weigh in, so please click on the link to vote if you haven’t already!  Here are some details that may be helpful to mention:
The Orientation Leader position is a part-time, temporary position at $13 per hour from August 11-January 31 (with the bulk of hours between August 11-August 30).
OLs must be matriculating at The New School for the Fall 2018 semester, and available to participate in the selection process this April. Unfortunately, that means that students are studying abroad this semester, or planning to study abroad in the Fall semester will not be considered for a 2018 OL spot, and are encouraged to apply to the 2019 cohort.
 
Selection timeline
OL application is due April 13th at 11:59PM (must have attended an information session to apply)
Individual interviews between April 19-25
If selected, group interview will take place on April 30th
OLs are notified on May 1st
Mandatory meeting on May 3rd
