Events at CUNY: A Tribute to June Jordan and TheaterWorks! Short Plays On Caregiving, May 2018
Please join the Center for the Humanities for two very exciting free events at the Graduate Center, CUNY.
This Friday, May 18th, join us for “A Tribute to June Jordan,” an intergenerational exploration and celebration of the legendary teacher, activist, and poet’s life, work, and legacy, organized as a day-long conference with lectures, panels, discussions, readings and more in honor of June Jordan, co-organized with Cave Canem Foundation and the June M. Jordan Literary Estate Trust.
On Tuesday, May 22nd at 7pm, join us for “TheaterWorks!: Short Plays On Caregiving at CUNY,” an evening of short plays written and performed by PSC-CUNY members who are involved with the care of an elderly, ill, or disabled family member, as a co-production with Working Theater, PSC-CUNY, and The Labor of Care Archive.
