First Call for Directors Awards Film Festival

This is the First Call for Directors Awards. Early bird deadline will end on the 26th of May.

Directors Awards is a yearly Film Festival dedicated to all directors in particular, regardless of their age and background, and to all filmmakers in general. The purpose of Directors Awards film festival is to promote the craftsmanship of directing to the position and attention it deserves. The assessment of all the performance in the judging process will also be from the director’s point of view.

Directors Awards receive submission in Special Categories, that is opened for directors only, and in general category, that is accepting all profession in the film industry.

We encourage newcomers and students who wish to shine their debut as a director to enter the New Director of the Year Award category, and professional directors to make their reputation soars internationally.

Duration guidelines:
Feature Films: minimum running time of 60 minutes.
Short Films: run time of 59 minutes and below.
Documentary Feature: over 60 minutes in length
Documentary Short: run time of 59 minutes and below
Music & Video: under 5 minutes in length

Through Film Festivals Alliance
Filmmakers are encouraged to submit through Film Festivals Alliance (FFA) and receive the benefit from the Money Back Guarantee Program.
