Teaching Artist Position Available at DCTV

PRO-TV’s Summer Media Fellowship is the next program session taking place from July 9 – August 3. Refer to job responsibilities and qualifications listed below:

Job Responsibilities
PRO-TV supports our students artistic achievements as well as their personal development and individual growth.  In order to support our students needs and facilitate their success it is necessary to:

Teach students the art of filmmaking including but not limited to:
Media literacy
Technical Training (camera operation, sound, editing, post-production techniques)
Maintaining proper usage (supervision) and maintenance of equipment
Facilitate constructive criticism and feedback sessions
Qualifications
Expertise in field production with digital video cameras, including Sony NX5U, Canon 5D/7D and FS700 cameras;
Expertise in non-linear editing with Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere and/or Avid;
At least one year of experience teaching film production and post-production
Experience working with a diverse public with varying levels of technical skill
Must be highly organized and detail oriented
Availability to work Monday – Friday, 10:30AM – 5:30PM
