SPACESTATION FALL INTERNSHIP – OUR BODY ELECTRIC (obé)
We are looking for several interns to assist us five (5) days a week (may include weekends) during the fall months. Our interns tackle a variety of tasks on-set everyday. We’re looking for interns who are go-getters, have good communication skills, who are intuitive, adaptable and enjoy taking their own initiative to get things done. Applicants must have a “no-job-too-small” attitude and be ready to learn. This internship is great hands-on experience where the interns get to showcase and develop their talents and skills in the production arena.
Spacestation is producing a fitness livestream for a new start-up company in Downtown Brooklyn. obé brings high-end, boutique trainers to an at-home audience in a fun and vibrant way. Call times during the week are 5:30am and later on weekends.
Daily tasks could include:
- Mic’ing talent / cleaning & maintaining audio gear
- Being the liaison between control and the talent
- Keeping track of trainer workouts while live and letting control know what move comes next
- Keeping the studio and set in order
- Clearing the stage in between sets – brief stints on live camera
- Checking the analytics and writing shout-outs in the prompter
Requirements:
- Computer experience (preferably on Mac operating system)
- Ability to work in Google Suite documents
- Interest in a career in production
- Must be currently enrolled as a full time student earning class credit for the internship (proof of enrollment will be required if selected)
