Mono No Aware Cinema Arts Non-Profit organization is proud to promote the 16mm direct animation, An Ecstatic Experience by Ja’Tovia Gary as our festival image this year.  Ja’Tovia is a former MONO workshop participant from 2013, who became an instructor with the organization and continues to ‘posit a future in which Blackness, the feminine, and non-traditional ontologies are centralized’ on and off screen.

REGISTER FOR A WORKSHOP THIS FALL Affordable and accessible film making opportunities in October provide film stock, camera equipment, facilities access, services and more. PLUS all films made with MONO this Fall will have a special premiere screening at Anthology Film Archives.  Learn to Shoot and process Super 8mm on Fuji Velvia Pro Color reversal film, build your own Matte-box for the Bolex Camera or master Projector Basics for 16mm, 35mm and 70mm in a new partnership with Alamo Drafthouse.
