Grant Money for Teams of Student Entrepreneurs at The New School
E-Team Grant Opportunity for Students
Through The New School’s institutional membership in VentureWell, the Impact Entrepreneurship team is pleased to share an opportunity for student entrepreneurs across the university to apply for an E-Team grant to bring their idea or invention to market. The E-Team program provides grants up to $75,000 over three distinct stages of application.
E-Team grants include opportunities to attend workshops, receive training and mentorship, and gain national exposure and access to fellow entrepreneurs. Interested students can apply (with a minimum of two active undergraduate or graduate students on an E-Team) if they have developed products or solutions which are scalable, can be commercialized, and address a significant social or entrepreneurial problem.
Upcoming deadlines for the E-team program are Feb 6, 2019 and May 2, 2019. It is recommended that teams start the application process eight weeks before the deadline in order to line-up the necessary verifications of support, including a Principal Investigator, Administrative Contact in the Office of Research Support (ORS). Most likely, this will be Barb Garii, but Dominic Scarpelli may also support teams and answer questions during the process.
More details about E-Team grants can be found here.
