Application Period for Television Academy Foundation 2019 Internship Program Starts Nov. 15, 2018

Believed by many to be Hollywood’s best-kept secret for breaking into the industry, the Television Academy Foundation’s annual Internship Program is in a class all its own. The program provides 50 summer internships, in more than 30 entertainment professions, to college students nationwide—and has launched successful careers in television since its inception in 1980.

The prestigious program gives both undergraduate and graduate students in-depth and hands-on professional experience in a variety of television careers and professions during eight weeks of full-time, paid work in Los Angeles at major Hollywood studios and production facilities.

Eligible candidates can submit applications to the Foundation for consideration in career categories ranging from animation to cinematography, directing to post production, children’s programming to movies for television and much more.

Working members of the Television Academy choose finalists for each internship category to interview for placement with premium host companies such as DreamWorks Animation, ShondaLand, Nickelodeon, Bunim-Murray Productions, CBS, ABC/Disney, HBO, NBC Universal and Warner Bros.

Applications for the 2019 Internship Program will be accepted from November 15, 2018 through January 24, 2019.
