December Events
This December, the Center for the Humanities is proud to present these exciting events and collaborations: a reading and conversation on radical writing, feminism and black futures with visionary writers and poets Saidiya Hartman, Erica Hunt, Dawn Lundy Martin and Claudia Rankine; a “Listening Party” as an experimental collaborative exploration into voice, multiplicity, and listening with radical empathy in collaboration with The Laundromat Project; a youth-led summit on educational justice, art, and activism for students and their allies in educational justice to up-pack issues, concerns, and realities in education through creative and artistic expression; readings and performances framed around the practice of “poetry, philosophy and performativity” in collaboration with the Queens Museum; short plays on caregiving at CUNY written and performed by PSC-CUNY members in collaboration with Working Theater.
