Job Opportunity: German Speaking Production Coordinator

TITLE: Freelance German-Speaking Assistant Coordinator for Busy Video Production Company (Chelsea)
BODY: We are a production company with clients such as NBC, BBC, ITV, Discovery Channel, National Geographic, and more. We are looking for a temporary, freelance assistant coordinator who speaks fluent German.
This position would begin late January 2019 and run approximately 3-5 weeks, with the potential to extend. The rate is $20/hr (8-10 hour days, depending on volume). Flexible Schedule but during day working hours (no nights).
As an assistant coordinator, you will be interfacing with crews, and clients to set up and coordinate broadcast and corporate video shoots in the United States and Canada. Additionally, you will interface with potential clients located in Germany and collate sales- and production-based information.
Basic Duties Include:
~ Hiring and managing crew members all across the U.S.
~ Researching corporate clients using LinkedIn
~ Manage billing for crew members and billing for clients
~ Place orders with equipment rental houses
~ Interfacing directly with clients to determine specific job requirements
~ Creating and distributing call sheets
~ Video, Photo, and Audio file management
Basic Eligibility Requirements:
~ German language fluency, Native Preferred
~ 1-2 years of experience coordinating video crews and/or photo crews for broadcast and corporate shoots
~ 1-2 years of office experience; writing e-mails, taking/placing phone calls, document editing, file management, organization, etc.
~ Intermediate-to-advanced proficiency with Mac products
~ Intermediate-to-advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office
~ Intermediate-to-advanced proficiency with Google Mail & Google Drive
Nice-to-haves:
~ Previous on-set experience as a coordinator/production assistant/photo assistant a plus
~ Experience with or basic knowledge of current cameras such as the Canon C300, Sony FS7, Canon 5D, ARRI, RED, etc., as well as grip/lighting, and/or sound
~ Experience with or basic knowledge of editing on NLEs such as Premiere Creative Cloud
