The 8th Annual Winter Film Awards International Film Festival, 2/14-2/23
The 8th Annual WINTER FILM AWARDS INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL is coming soon! The Festival runs February 14-23 in New York City with a jam-packed schedule of 89 fantastic films from 32 countries, seriously amazing discussion panels, cool networking events and super-fun parties.
They have got something for everyone, with a diverse mixture of shorts and features, animations, documentaries, thrillers, comedies, romances, dramas, horror, sci-fi, music videos and web series! Filmmakers come from 32 countries; 50% of the films were created by women, 53% were created by or about people of color. Hollywood continues to ignore women and people of color, but Winter Film Awards celebrates everyone! “I think that when everybody’s story is told, them that makes for better art, that makes for better entertainment. - Screenings at Cinema Village (22 East 12th Street, New York NY 10003). Tickets are $12.50 in advance, $16.50 at the door for a 2 1/2-3 hour block of films.
- Discussion Panels + Workshops are free, but require pre-registraton

Winter Film Awards is an all volunteer, minority- and women-owned registered 501(c)3 non-profit organization founded in 2011 in New York City by a group of filmmakers and enthusiasts. The program is supported, in part, by public funds from the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs in partnership with the City Council.
