Internship Opportunity: The Tällberg Foundation

The Tällberg Foundation is looking for interns to support our New York based communications and social media efforts.

The primary goal of the intern position is to leverage social media to increase awareness of the Eliasson Global Leadership Prize.  This entails creating, editing and distributing multimedia content across all Tällberg Foundation’s social media channels (including LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter). The objectives are to drive traffic to the Prize website, encourage Prize nominations and foster engagement with new audiences.

Specific tasks:

  • Develop and execute high-quality social media content consistent with Tällberg’s overall communications strategy
  • Coordinate with vendors placing paid ads on social media platforms
  • Engage in social listening and track outcomes
  • Recommend adjustments and new techniques, including boosting posts to amplify engagements and placing ads to relevant audiences

The interns who will be selected will have great communication skills, including the capacity to create content, as well as deep knowledge of how to develop and sustain social media campaigns.  Since the audiences for the Eliasson Global Leadership Prize are global, sensitivity to cultural, social and political differences is critical, as is the ability to work independently.

Interns will work part time with flexible hours, and will be compensated at a rate of $15/hour. The position is based in mid-town Manhattan.
