The thought of fundraising can invoke feelings of anxiety and aversion for many, and particularly for people of color who rarely see themselves or their life experiences reflected in philanthropy and on foundation staff. In this webinar, Professor Jesudason will share her experiences, mindsets and best practices from more than 15 years of successful grant writing and philanthropic relationship building.

WEBINAR PRESENTER:
Dr. Sujatha Jesudason is a Professor of Professional Practice in Management at the New School’s Milano School of Policy, Management, and Environment.  She has worked at social justice nonprofits for 25 years and been the founder and executive director of three nonprofits in the last 15 years where she raised more than $15 million. Focusing on social movements, innovation, race and power, she teaches classes on leadership, inclusion and belonging, and re-imagining social movements.
