Interns and Volunteers Needed for The Socially Relevant Film Festival New York

The Socially Relevant Film Festival  is seeking interns or volunteers for the festival week to help with filmmaker welcome, Q&A assistance, video taping of interviews and Q&A’s, audience participation, and general manning of the festival table supplying information to festival goers. The Festival will take place from March 15 – 21, 2019.

The convenient location of the festival venue, Cinema Village, which is right nearby the New School campus, makes it easy for students to fit in a 4-hour volunteering shift into their schedule, and benefit from attending the Industry Panels, events and films free of charge in exchange.
We are hosting an orientation tomorrow, Thursday, March 7 at 6:00pm at the Cinema (22 E 12th street), that students are welcome to come and present themselves if they are available at that time. Otherwise, interested students can contact Nora Armani (ratedsrfilmfest@gmail.com), Sylvia Mead (sylvia.mead1@gmail.com), or Minsoo Lee (minsoo0225@gmail.com).
All interested students – volunteers or not – are welcome to $5 student tickets to all films.
