Graduate Minor in Transmedia and Digital Storytelling Now Offered
The Transmedia and Digital Storytelling graduate minor is offered through the School of Media Studies in the Schools of Public Engagement. The graduate minor in Transmedia and Digital Storytelling enables students to familiarize themselves with multi-platform content creation and distribution models, using online, video, audio, mobile and social media, live events, and interactive and immersive technologies. These media forms are used for story extensions and audience engagement, documentaries and social action, brand marketing and advertising, as well as new ways of creative storytelling and presentation. The minor also educates students studying in a variety of disciplines how media informs, influences, and entertains across platforms and channels.
