SMS Faculty Member Kathleen Rugh has Film Screened at Process Festival
Kathleen Rugh’s short film, “Winter’s First Moons” recently screened at the Process Festival in Riga, Latvia, the Spectral Film Festival in Stevens Point, WI, the Athens International Film + Video Festival in Athens, OH, and Experiments in Cinema in Albuquerque, NM. It was awarded a jury’s Kodak Award at FLEX the Florida Experimental Film & Video Festival in Tampa, FL.
Also, her film “Summer’s Last Moons” recently screened at the Onion City Film Festival in Chicago, IL and will screen at the Milwaukee Underground Film Festival later this week in Milwaukee, WI. Both films combine different phases of the moon together in the frame layered with NASA sound recordings from space.
