Creative Stylist

Furniture Brand is seeking a creative and organized creative stylist. This person will lead creative direction for a variety of lifestyle and product photography. We’re looking for a talented candidate who will bring fresh and unique ideas – someone who will help grow our photography studio in the years to come.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Researching new industry trends, reporting to marketing team and implementing in photography
  • Conducting competitor analysis and effectively communicating
  • Directing photographer and on-set assistant
  • Planning and preparing for requested lifestyle and product photography shoots
    • Referencing existing prop library
    • Using trend boards to plan cohesive lifestyles
    • Organizing list of props for preparation
    • Setting up lifestyle room scenes including:
      • Finding and preparing artwork
      • Arranging best product layout
      • Finishing touches
      • Preparing for and directing models
      • Applying and recommending options for post-processing designs
      • Corresponding with graphic designers to finalize all images + crops
      • Referencing e-commerce website to maintain consistency across all images
      • Monitoring competitor photography and industry trends to come up with ways to keep photography relevant and on-trend
      • Brainstorming and representing creative photo ideas for advertising and other marketing purposes
      • Conducting competitor research and preparing compiled information into professional presentations

Skills and Requirements

  • Highly Organized
  • Extremely Detail Oriented
  • Strong verbal communication skills / Ability to give clear direction on vision
  • Basic Photoshop Skills
  • Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint, Word)
  • Ability to conduct competitor and trend research
  • Trend Savvy
  • Spanish Speaking – a plus

 

Graphic Designer

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with marketing team to design a wide range of material such as: social media ads, digital assets, web graphics and pages, presentations email blasts, catalogs, ads and more
  • Stay up-to-date with digital trends and best practices for graphics
  • Think creatively to produce new ideas and elements for typography, color, imagery and other graphic fundamentals
  • Create engaging social assets for both organic and paid use across all platforms
  • Assist with creation of animated graphic videos

Skills and Requirements:

  • High proficiency in Illustrator/Photoshop/InDesign
  • Experience with After Effects (a plus!)
  • Skilled in creating digital graphics for all platforms
